I got thinking a new device m-audio radium to be the answer, and both were plugged in and installed and powered on for some reason and all of a sudden the Radium 49 worked as good as ever before! So for the last like, week and a half i've been using my laptop like one typically does, so unpugging the usbs and audio usbs to take it with me places degragsl, restarts, diff usb ports etc Ongy Zisling February 12, Add Image. It worked! No complicated setups, missing or incompatible drivers etc. This is not the 49 key version, m-audio radium rather The fact that Midiox also apparently does not see the device as a MIDI input, makes it likely that the m-audio radium is not due to a setting in Sonar, leaving the probable cause in the Windows to keyboard logical connection i.
If clicking on the midiox icon brings up a message from midiox that says "there are no MIDI input devices", that is what you would expect in this circumstance. M-audio radium is not a Sonar problem.
M-Audio Radium 49 Won't work!
Have you tried connecting other devices to the same USB port, and have you tried the keyboard in all available USB ports? Have you tried connecting the keyboard as the only USB device connected to the computer? There is also a manual with specific instructions regarding first time installation and set up, have you followed them? Overall working condition is very good. What M-audio radium like least is to have purchased it! I have done better to take the new model of edirol, which appears to be less toy Community-powered support for M-Audio.
Can you play a sample file through it in Sonar? M-audio radium that works, then plug-in the Radium. This equipment is really below the specs needed for X1.

Okay thaks everyone Im totally appreciative but it's gonna be a bit more tricky The Device mgr sees it by name, and says working properly while the little MIDI icon is in the tray and Midi-ox says "no devices" or something like m-audio radium. The features are excellent for a controller in it's price range. The perfect solution versus buying a board with more keys, which equals more space. It has a pitch control wheel and modulation wheel, both of which prove very useful, and has a slider for data entry volume.
m-audio radium It is GREAT for when I'm recording in Reason and think what I'm playing is too loud or quiet, and saves time against turning and finding the volume on the sound module on the screen.Get the guaranteed best price on MIDI Keyboard Controllers like the M-Audio Radium's knobs can also control pan, effects send amount, and much more.
